About Lentz Logic

Dillon Lentz, Managing Consultant

I have spent over 10 years in the construction industry, with the majority of my experience being on highly technical projects in the life-science/pharmaceutical clean room and data center industry segments. Starting as a Project Engineer, I quickly realized my passion in construction came from solving complex field challenges to deliver a project successfully and transitioned into field engineering, where I was quickly promoted to Superintendent. After becoming a Project Superintendent early on in my career, I realized that the only way for a project plan to be executed with the least amount of challenges was to work with all trade contractors to collaborate and create a plan that was mutually beneficial to all project stakeholders.

After the birth of my fourth of five sons, I realized that as much as I enjoyed being a Superintendent, I wanted to work in a position that allowed for more time home with my family, while still allowing me to help projects by successfully planning the work. Project scheduling became an obvious choice and I was fortunate to be able to transition into scheduling where my previous experience has been able to provide value and differentiates me from other schedulers on projects.

The reason for starting Lentz Logic was to achieve my goal of assisting contractors with scheduling services that protect their financial and resource interests on any project, after seeing way too many clients try to force through unrealistic schedule expectations on a project with no perception of what is needed in the "real world" of construction. Having worked for numerous contractors, I realize that the unrealistic expectations will never go away, but I hope my services provide the ability to communicate solid planning and create a tool to accurately reflect what will be needed to achieve success.

Education

I graduated from Northern Arizona University's Construction Management program in 2014, with a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management. I do value the education I received at NAU and still communicate with faculty and alumni; however the greatest education I received came from working on jobsites as a carpenter while attending college and by having a passion for communicating with all trades after moving into project management after college.

Corinna Lentz, Business Manager

Corinna started her career as an event planner, working for numerous companies where she was able to apply her excellent attention to detail and professionalism to successfully plan and deliver both corporate and private events.

Due to a growing family, Corinna transitioned to being a stay at home mother and continued to use her skills to manage a household and homeschool five boys.

She has worked professionally with Dillon for over two years in construction scheduling consulting, where she has used her passion for continuous improvement to learn all she can about construction planning and scheduling and assist with schedule management, in addition to managing the business of Lentz Logic.
